I live my life for God when the beast sleeps
Day in day out i pray and read
The wrong look the wrong sight opens it's eye
Yet it is for a moment then it sleeps
Every day you look for someone to love
Because you don't get to close
The beast stays a sleep.
It is easy to stay pure you feel in control?
Yet one day a woman catches your eye!
She is attractive and returns your kindness
The beast hears her voice sees her body
It has tasted them when to be tempted!
She plays along on games you do not play
The beast is awake hungry for sin
It makes you believe in a physical love?
But you know in your heart that is not true
And soon after you will not stay with one
When many will do the beast needs a feast
Taking your eyes off God is lust worth feeding?
