Crowd roaring
the haze has you floundering

Silence
from within drowns all your fears

Rhythm
Steady beat of life in your ears

Clarity
Now you see the road ahead as endless as the years

Feet pounding
Like the pit patter of the rain
Sound roaring
Like a waterfall in your artery and vein

Lost
Only the way ahead till the end

Fire
the single desire to fight not to bend

Race
you lose your body to the motion and trend

Feet pounding
Like the wings of an eagle in a torn sky
Sound roaring
Like the whistle of a breeze in the cavern cry

one
with a mission for victory unfettered

fate
what is started must be finished

sight
only for that one ribbon that marks the marathon end
