You sit around my neck
Not as a demon or angel,
but wearing Abercrombie and American Eagle.

You rip at my spine,
Pulling like a typhoon does a bridge
As the crickets try to lullaby me away.

But I found an ointment
called Wisdom, with it
I pull you away,

Put you on my right shoulder.
Welcome home!
You no longer hurt me:

You coach
on that wild sport called Life
Instead.
