John Griffiths - My Daddy
1 Views • Nov 10, 2014
Description
Why do they have to lie?
By giving different reasons,
To why we have to die.
They told me that my Daddy
Would no longer be around,
As I watched through tears of anger,
While they lowered him in the ground.
Night-time is the hardest,
When I’m lying in my bed,
It is then I think about him,
And wish he was not dead.
Then suddenly, I see him,
As the darkness turned to light.
He begins to walk towards me,
To tell me he’s alright.
I know that he is with me,
To help me ease the pain.
And if ever I should need him,
He will come back again.
