Description

When daylight fades and slowly dies
With all the clouds that burst the skies
Will Time in its mourning, shed a tear
For all the joys of wistful despair?

Dark of night will be falling soon
Below the glow of a gibbous moon
Leaving today to await the morrow
The evening sun in ardent sorrow

Cruel shades of dusk are taking hold
Over the sky, they draw the cold
How twilight's colors reflects their grief
Those lusterless shadows, oh! so brief

Two suns have set; one without cease
One to rest in eternal peace
Great day has passed; the light has gone
And I shall not see the new day dawn
