John F. McCullagh - The Demagogue

He gives voice to your anger.
His eloquence draws tears.
Strange, he's not quite so loquacious
when no Teleprompters near.

He's skillful at campaigning
as he darts from place to place.
He likes preaching to the choir,
dissent he cannot face.

He organizes hatreds
as most politicians do.
He loves the Muslim Brotherhood
and snubs Netanyahu.

The shade of Richard Nixon
approves his covert deeds;
Certain that a list of enemies
is something every POTUS needs.

Now mid-term elections near
And he once more tries his luck.
With a win, he'll be dictator;
with a loss, just a lame duck.
