John Carter Brown - Twilight

As daylight dies,
And evening draws it's
Raven-shaded cloak across the land;
When creatures far and nigh
Obey the call to lie, and understand;
Then falls the drowsy twilight,
With it's somnolent request for sleep,
That soon defaults to a command.
