Johansson engaged, Williams Broadway bound

It's official, Scarlett Johansson is engaged. A rep for Johansson confirmed rumors that the star is engaged to her boyfriend, Romain Dauriac, a French journalist. The rep said that the couple have not yet set a date for the wedding. This would be the second marriage for Johansson, who married Ryan Reynolds in 2008 but called quits after two years.

Michelle Williams will make her Broadway debut in a new revival of Cabaret. The Oscar-nominated actress will play party girl Sally Bowles in a production set to open in April 2014. Williams has done several off-Broadway shows before, but hasn't yet performed on the Great White Way.

Roman Polanski has given a rare interview to Vanity Fair, in which he discusses the impact of his sex crime conviction. The director said he felt more persecuted after he was arrested in 2009 in Switzerland than he did when he was convicted of the crime. Polanski pleaded guilty in 1977 to having sex with a minor.
