Fast like the speed of sound
sharp as a spear’s point
it’s a seven point six two round
for life and death.

Keep it clean from the metal
to the copper jacket
it fits together in twenties
before you could wink an eye
it will ride from top to bottom.

It spreads destruction and death
for soldiers and hunters alike
in war and leisure
it kills for pleasure

This is the full metal jacket
for a rifle and not a gun
for a soldier not a nun
made for war...and for fun
