Joey Hizon is a musician/songwriter based in Brisbane, Australia. His first musical instrument was a keyboard at a very young age, which progressed to playing the guitar, then led to playing the drums in high school. He has recently formed the Joey Hizon Project (2011) where he invites musicians from all-over Australia to do the one thing that they love, which is playing music and performing at events. The Joey Hizon Project is a vessel in promoting positive music and consists of musicians who are wanting to make a positive difference in the world. Their music talks about love, hope, freedom, and anything inspiring and uplifting. Joey appreciates all genres of music as he has been exposed to hiphop, R&B, classical, rock, punk, grunge, country, pop...YOU NAME IT! His current musical influences range from Boyz II Men to Pete Murray.
