love is just a word ive heard so many say they love me when they never did
one second by my side the next gone with the wind

they say everyone has a purpose but this world is empty, worthless, filled by greed and sins
i want to move on but our values are gone, replaced by evil men

ive tried to find some worth here on God's green earth but ive come up empty handed
we're all just living shadows cast by yesterday's sorrows, in this world thats just so candid

so now i say so long to the loneliness and wrongs, i wont miss you on the other side
i'll be gone before you know it though this world dont want to show it, like footprints washed away by the rising tide
