War machines battle
On this forgotten place
lost between the anchors of time
I feel the powdery hands of snow
Enveloping me in coldness
I know what it is to die
The blackness sings forever
Starless skies expand endlessly
Their roots entangle inside me
I lay down and listen
To the life I once had
Fading away
The person I was
lost forever inside the person I loved
Banished to this place
I wait,
I wait,
for nothing
