Jodilee Duke - hurt

Now I just hurt
I feel nothing more
than incoming dirt.


Silence is building
back to the one sound l know
tink ~ tink ~ tink
into the tin can
my hope does sinks.

Unhooking the negative feed
not allowing it to seam my heart
I wont be another one of its collective pieces,
I'm a positive flow,
and because of this,
I'm alone.

Incoming dirt
covering me up
hiding me away.

Alone, now I pray.
