Description
Inscribing our names into each other so we are not forgotten,
Waiting for judgement day to come and fade away again,
Our lives no longer amongst the secrets of the past,
Becoming what we wanted to be at the age of ten.
Living in our own mind creating conversations with those around us,
Looking for an easy way out of staying alive,
Rising to the challenge of death and coming to terms with our loss,
As it is our only way to survive.
Turning around to find the dead rising from the ashes,
The smoke starts to clear and reveals the mess that is your life,
Swallowing the pill to kill the infectious disease that was your past,
As you are finally being healed from this perpetuous strife.
Moving Along the path to find what has already been found,
Losing consciousness before you save your mind,
Locate the cause of complaints that distracted you from your trail,
Because you have left it all behind.
Still standing in the mess you created with these lies,
But you have lasted through the ages,
Looking around to find everyone has been long gone,
As it is the torment inside you that still rages.
Seeking the truth in the historic records,
Proving that the past is one of false hope and identity,
Plunging into the grasp of a dead man still in power,
As it has become to late for you to see.
