JNU Row: Delhi top cop's shocking hint

5 days after India witnessed shocking scenes in capital's JNU campus, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh has said that anti-national event in JNU had the backing of LeT Chief Hafiz Saeed. The statement comes on a day when Delhi Police Chief BS Bassi told NewsX that he has contacted the NIA over the case and the anti-terror agency can take over the investigation. So, is the government probing a bigger conspiracy behind the anti-India event in the capital and investigate if students had any link to terror organisation. But, the opposition has hit out at Rajnath Singh for making the LeT claim & has demanded proof of the LeT link.
