Armed forces everywhere
This time of year lets show we care
Some of them are near and far
Peacekeepers, that’s what they are

The lone soldiers fast asleep
They will have no Christmas treat
Fighting the cause, right or wrong
Remember them in our Christmas songs

These heroes they will stand alone
They are Britain’s great back bone
Remember they are someone’s son
That is where there life begun
So with great cheer we praise you all
And pray to god you never fall
