Jhon Doe - Regrets

I never said what I meant to say
I never did what I meant to do
just sat back and watched the world go by
and never stood or meant anything to anyone

I was afraid of failure
or humiliation
paralyzed by what might happen
or what might not

Every opportunity screamed at me to do something, anything
but I never even moved
and everything I ever wanted
just drifted away, out of reach

And no matter how hard I try
I can't keep it together
everyone of my hopes and dreams
come apart in front of my face

I'm tired of living like this
I can't stand being so afraid of nothing
I hate the choices I've made
I'm tired of living with regrets.
