Jhalak Isha & Salman Plea for Votes

We had reported last week that Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5 contestant Isha Sharvani had injured her elbow while rehearsing with the international dancers who will perform along with final six on Tuesday (recording of elimination and performance round episode which will be telecast oncoming Saturday).

Then it was speculated that Isha might not be able to stay on in the competition as her doctor had recommended her four weeks of rest. But now we have confirmed information that Isha will skip this week’s performance and hit the dance floor in the coming week. The channel (Colors) and the production house (BBC Worldwide) have decided to give her time to recuperate and skip this week’s performance.

Hence… for this Tuesday’s act, her choreographer and partner Salman Yusuff Khan will just dance with the foreign guests and will not be marked. The channel seems to be quite happy with this couple for this is the second time that either Isha or Salman have been given time to recoup from injuries. We wonder how the other five contestants must be feeling about this decision of the channel and production house.

Both Isha and Salman were not available for comment but this very popular and talented pair is going to address the media today to speak about Isha’s accident. We will bring you more updates as the day progresses.
