Jeunese Rona - Goodbye

“Goodbye” is the strongest word
Ever to be uttered…
It’s absolute, conclusive
Final and destructive.

“Goodbye” cannot be repealed,
Revoked or appealed.
It’s as plain as day
And cannot be taken away.

No matter how strong your love may have been
“Goodbye, ” “Adieu, ” and all words akin,
Dissolves all emotions that were once wonderful
And replaces them with all things dreadful.

Once it’s said, it’s done, you’ll see
However strong your bond may be
“Goodbye” erases all you’ve shared,
Even though you thought he cared.

So the next time you bid farewell,
Think hard, think twice, think well.
For 'goodbye' cannot be unsaid
It’s just as final as death.
