Between these promises and these memories
In the midst of this it's just you and me
And if I had to guess then surely I would say
That I'm headed where I'd not aimed to stray

But I've got to throw this out there- that I am not afraid
And in every time of doubt I look on to better days
So forgive me for my weaknesses and pardon all my sins
I am not the perfect girl that you thought might exist

But I'm standing here right now
And I am letting all this out
I give myself to you

Because you're all I'd ever hoped for
And I am not unsure
You are all I hoped for
And I, at last, am yours
