Jessica Bunnell - The Starry Night

The night sky filled with swirling clouds,
illuminated by the very presence of orbs
ablaze in their own light. Oh, Starry Night.
Below the rolling hills of the horizon
lies a small town- the darkened windows take
us back to childhood- a peaceful essence
flowing from the structures. Imaginations
once ran wild with what exists
in the night and dark starry skies.
The steeple of the church in the center
of the town looms overhead, mirroring the
isolated cypress tree, both symbolizing faith. The
tree is away from the people, its curving lines echo
that of the sky. Oh, peaceful night.
