I am a candle and you are my flame-
without you I am nothing
but a world without sun.
We are one as though some past destiny
has bound us like a woman to her man.
You knew that with one touch from you,
I'd melt my life away.
But then you kept a distance
even though you want to touch me not just once.
You look at me one moment
with burning desire in your eyes...
and for another moment you closed your eyes
as though you wished your heart could lie.
And then you stare at me
as though you have something to say.
And for another second you curse yourself
and wished you could go away.
You never knew that I am just a candle
and you're my only flame.
And that without you,
I'm just a world without a sun.
Do touch me, do hold me-
do love me as a woman love her man.
