A lifetime thought, if only it could be.
Cut off my strings, letting me be to live free.
By my own control, easily I could move.
Nobody, yes, nobody knew, but I had a soul.
All I really wanted was to be a man.

After the show I was put on the shelf.
For a long time, there I was left.
Not knowing I could speak aloud you see,
One day I was heard, and said back to me...

I don't know why you want to be a man.
You are a man, this is the truth.
But you will always be just a puppet to me!
