I thought you hated me
You made me wish I'd never been planted
and in moments of wind and rain
I wished that you'd cut me down
to end my pain
But all this time you
were giving me water
yet I just didnt know
how I was supposed to use it to grow
and then you kissed my petals
and so to reveal
my vibrant colours buried deep inside
which I thought had been lost on this turbulent ride
You've made me beautiful
and now I am
dizzy, floating, spinning, free.
