Through those hazel eyes
You told me something
I’ve never heard before.
You showed me that love was real.
With your hand so strong to hold me up
When I was falling from this life.
You still gave your love to me.

You helped show me
That there was still hope out there.
From the darkened life I lived,
You’ve made it bright again.

And wrapped me in your arms.
