Jeryn Bean - Lost

In this world,
many are lost.
as people go about their day,
never knowing what has been done.

they live unaware,
of the pain that others are feeling,
knowing only what they feel,
and nothing more.

and when someone close is lost,
they look around and notice,
that no one is helping.
that they are being passed by,

just as they passed others themselves.
to some, this crushes.
never to recover.

to others though,
it gives them strength,
so that they may help the next person who needs it,
so that one less person,
feels the pain that you have suffered.
