Jerome Powell Explains Fed Rate Hike
Description
The Federal Reserve raised the interest rate on Sept. 26 by a quarter-percent for the third time this year in a widely expected move. The Fed is expected to raise rates again in December. Fed Chairman Jerome Powell said in a press conference statement after announcing the latest rate increase that a strong US economy leads to the policy of higher rates.
