PITTER PATTER RAIN
Pitter, patter rain,
Trouncing the earth,
Blowing cold winds,
Banging in the sky Thud! Thud!

Obstinate and vibrant,
Like a growing child,
Untainted and blameless,
Beautiful in nature.

Descends without notice,
Lasts for moments or so,
Undulating black clouds, darkness all around
Intimidating but fun!

Flowers smile and bloom,
Birds hide for warmth in their nests,
Children chortle and play,
Mind sold in the rain.
Pitter patter rain drops a ray of sunlight amidst,
Bringing in new hopes and dreams,
Motivated for a new start all over again.
