~I tried~

I never made a move past her comfort,
I never acted to make her see me
I never told lies to make myself better
I never Spread rumors so others would flea.

I tried not to speak out of time
I tried not to make her out of place
I tried to stay on the topic
I tried not to make moves to her face,

She never seemed to want to be with me
She never tried to hug me at all
She never gave a gesture to kiss her
She wasn't there to catch me at all

I went to her house, just to see her
I went on long walks in the rain
I went to the park to be with her
I knew it was all just the same

I knew I wouldn't get her attention
I knew I was being overlooked
I knew I wouldn't even get meantioned
The thoughts made me shudder and shook

But as I lay here and I wonder
about what would of happened if I stayed
but the thoughts are broken and under
and the meaning as gotten so frayed

So off with the forgotten attemtps
its worth nothing to anyone now
my attempts never worked out
and im still trying to figure out how.
