As Sprinter Jereem Richards delivered on his promise to run his heart out, and it paid off with silver in the men's 400-meter final.
Richards stopped the clock at 43.72, a new national record and personal best, bettering his previous mark of 43.78 set at the Olympics.
The race was won by Botswana's Busang Kebinat-shipi in a world-leading 43.53 seconds.
