Both spectator and spectacle
Inhabit uncharted world space.

Here the plain can experience
The self-presentation of great beauty,
The meek can encompass the bold.
Here the soul is not only decentered,
But multiplied without limit.

In this sphere of surreality,
Meet the avatar
And its telepresence.

Step into the picture -
Become what you play,
Generate and destroy.

Can the human spirit penetrate
This virtual world?

Immersion or illusion:
We can be recreated,
Or we can recreate ourselves.
Infinity reflected in the finite
We are who we pretend to be.
