Beautifully shattered into a perfect world created of fantastical reality
One that can only be created from a tormented soul
An angel sent to engulf and rescue, to teach and prove
I met you, and fell helplessly in love

A swallowing intense comfort
Stunning blue eyes that could read my soul
A voice that could silence fear
And a smile that could melt my heart

Wanted and needed in every way possible
Still unknown to me, you are.
Leaving me hungry as I wish and dream of you

So close, I am, to you
Almost, but still so far
So far it burns as I watch you, and ache for you

I see you in my dreams
And hear your voice at night
I feel you next to me
In a strong sense you are with me, in a way I know
Yet, you’re not there at all, so far away

You’re at my fingertips
I almost have you, and you know it
I feel it, you’ll see
One day I’ll tell you, “I told you so.”
Because one day, you’ll be mine
And you will be reading this in bed next to me
And you’ll smile that tell all smile of yours
I already see it.
