Jennifer Ottinger - Forgotten

Crying out in fear,
When no one can hear,
My final breaths
Will be my death.
The silver blade,
Makes a final cascade,
Over my blood soaked skin,
My wrists grow thin.
Did no one want me?
Did no one see?
I wanted you only to say
“I love you” one last day.
Now there is no time,
In my growing crime.
