Jennifer Morse - Mistakes

Letting down the ones you care for
But most of all yourself
Big or small, it feels the same
An act of failure you can't control

Soon it's all you can see
No more good deeds or accomplishments
Just the memories of the wrong
It's enough to bury you alive

If forgiveness could exist
We could move on and let go
But since you say it's not possible
I am left watching mistakes repeat
