It's hard to look at you
Knowing everything we went through
The nights I spent happy and others confused
Every time it was about you
In my heart i wish it could've ended differently, that we could still be friends
But the way it's going our friendship has come to an end

It really is sad, what we've come to
Not even knowing if what you say is true
It's like everytime i think i've got you figured out
I'm wrong and left to pout

I want to say I'm sorry for anything I did wrong
I'm sorry that i fell when you were strong
I'm sorry for the things I said, for the words i can't take back
I'm sorry for the strength in which i lack
I'm sorry for the way you feel
I'm sorry that all this is real

But I'm not sorry for who i am,
What I have become
You see i used to think what you thought was important
But now I see all that's just dumb
Because it doesn't matter and I'm stronger than that
No one changes me and that's a fact

I never apologize for how i feel
Because you see that's not real
So take me for me
Because that's all i can ever be
