I don’t know what to do
My world is slowing shrinking
Smaller
And smaller
And smaller
Not stopping until all that’s left is myself
No one else can withhold
My tightening borders
Or climb my unbreakable walls
The things I use as guard
Against family
Against friends
Against myself
I can no longer fight the shrinking
I can just say goodbye
My image is drawer nearer
But it’s just keeps getting fuzzier
Like I’m staring in a mirror too long
And my features are colliding
It’s just me
No one will be left
When I am through
I know that as soon as people
See the real me they will be gone
Out the door.
My glaring flaws scare everyone away.
Can’t I have just one good thing about myself?
