With everything a mystery
A tide of emotion crashing on me
Confusing waves urging toward the sea
With a gentle tune; a lullaby
A teardropp and a smile goodbye
But you will never see me cry
No, I hide it well.

Raindrops falling from the sky
A broken angel, crushed by time
With hidden scars, so deep and wide
A radio with volume up
Repeating lyrics of cover-up
Through static words I'm breaking up
And still, I hide it well.

After unexpected tears
After nondramatic years
All the pain is finally here
Breaking down is getting near
But all of this you would not know
I will not let these feelings show
Still, I cannot escape Cupid's bow
But I must hide it well
I will always hide it well.
