Jelly Pilgrim

Spirits summoned auras of their creations to ceremony and to prayer. Those with self-centered intentions became stone. Has the quest has gone haywire, or is there a method in this madness? The souls of the sea lions, the dolphin, the whale, and the penguin, trapped in rock, watch as the astral projections of some jellyfish, an eel, and a few palm trees quest and frolic ecstatically in wild abandon through the mountainous desert. The captives dream of freedom, praying silently for a miracle. The new pilgrims intrude, unaware that they steal the dreams and drain the energy of the captives. A lone enlightened jelly pilgrim hears the captives’ prayers for freedom and contemplates their rescue. A dear departed friend was a healer, a teacher, a dreamer, a searcher, and a shaman. He told me go forth into nature, to keep my heart open to what the spirits reveal, and to share that experience with everyone. Thus “Jelly Pilgrim” came to be, and is dedicated to the loving memory of Guadalupe Candelario.
