Your amazing eyes
Looked at me softly
Giving me a promise of much more
And your radiant smile illuminated the sky,
On a dark night
As you had a way about you
That made your presence overwhelming.
I could feel your intense passion
With those sensual touches in the night
And what we had together was very special.
Just yesterday, I felt we were meant to be.
What’s happened to us?
Not long ago, I was your hero
Your best friend and lover,
And I could do no wrong.
Where did all the passion go?
Our Love was beautiful once upon a time
But now, you say you love me,
And yet the luster is not there.
It’s easy to feel love
When everything goes right,
But love is tested by adversity.
Somewhere within the chaos of life we fell apart
Now I feel trapped by a wall of pain
As my body and heart aches for your love once more.
