Jeff Fleischer - She Lied To Me Again

She lied to me again.
And I could not remember when
She had ever earned my trust.
Our relationship has gone bust.
Her promises meant nothing to me.
But she had been too blind to see
How she had hurt me so.
When she said yes, but really meant no.
She had told me that there was no other
While she actually thought of another.
Today was the day I set her straight,
And told her that it was too late
For her to make amends.
All her lying had to end.
This time I made sure to cut her loose,
So I would no longer have to take her abuse.
