Jeff Fleischer - I Should Have Known

I should have known that it would come down to this.
That something was terribly amiss.
Now I realize that I do not belong.
That something is going on that is very wrong.
Now I know the lousy truth
And have found plenty of proof.
That has really made me aware
Of why people stop to look down and stare.
If only I had grown nice and tall,
I would have had it all.
Instead I'm referred to as 'little' or 'small.'
Let the underdogs triumph and the mighty fall.
