Jean-Michel André Jarre (born August 24 1948) is a composer and instrumentalist (keyboard, etc. teremin) French, considered one of the pioneers of electronic music and current New Age. It is known for outdoor concerts with spectators in record numbers, which are used in laser effects and fireworks, where the show takes advantage of visual landscapes and architecture of the surroundings. It is estimated that Jarre has sold 80 million albums and singles discs.
