Jayne Downing - Bermuda Triangle
10 Views • Nov 07, 2014
Description
The air is full of Brigadoon
And you were always only halfway here
But now you’ve gone, disappeared complete.
The lost island that no one ever quite could reach
The distant shore bountiful, replete
That disappears before the anchor touches sand
Bermuda triangle en suite
Lights grow dim and start to fade in the light of day
A dusting of dawn sprinkles o’er the moon
Your words were always constantly sincere
You told the truth beyond hopes we couldn’t quite delete
The sunken boat that floundered near an isolated beach
Too long waning, shrinking, obsolete
Dissolving in the water before it reaches land
Bermuda triangle en suite
