How do you write down thoughts
If they don’t consist of words sought
Colliding with reality in a pool of metaphor
Complying with regulations more and more
To take the glimmer from a crystal
Replacing it with ammunition of a pistol
Shadows bring light
You missed the connecting flight
Overwhelmed by the pace of the earth
And the miraculous concept of birth
The center precedes the core
The water ripples to the shore
Sail into tomorrow’s spirit
Love will endeavor if you let it
Cheating and lies would not exist
If tests were not thought to insist
The true façade under the veil
Being true to ones’ self – it’s impossible to fail.
