Jayalalithaa sentenced for 4 years in DA case

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa has been convicted by a special court in Bangalore in the 18-year-old Rs 66.65 crore disproportionate assets case against her. This verdict will have huge ramifications on the state polity and her government.
Jayalalithaa has been sentenced for four years, set to be arrested.
