Dear Soul,

You are torturing me
You have never stopped tormenting me
Since Day One, and in all probability
you will never stop, even after reading this.

You, along with your filthy friend, Conscience,
Contaminate me with guilt and helplessness.
You scare me with your threat
Of leaving me without a heart,
That I cannot but obey your words.
You are my master, I your slave.
I am reluctant, but that will not change anything.

Soul, you are a monster.
You fill me with feelings that confuse me,
Emotions that puzzle me and thoughts that bewilder me.
Please stop, I cannot stand it anymore.
You are making me go insane.
I beg of you, stop.

Soul, you are a beast.
You make me do things
That are not good to me
For the good of others
For which I see no point in at all.
You make me say things I don't mean
Just to make others happy.

You keep me from doing things I really, truly want.
You repress my animalistic behaviour,
Of which I truly want to express.
I need to, Soul.
Let me do the things I truly want to do.

Why do you force me, Soul?
I do not understand.

I hate you, Soul.
In the truest sense of the phrase, I hate you.

I will not forgive you.
I will not forget you.
