Jason Philip - Final Judgement

As I lay on my deathbed
My life flashes by
I ask myself
Was I good or vile?

A warrior for my country
My name's carved in stone
But it won't help me now
I'm rotting to the bone

Will I be given a second chance?
Will i get to prove my worth?
An eternity of burning torture
I fear the worst

The blood of the innocent on my sword
My sins are too great I fear
As my body weakens
I know my time is near

And lo, there he stood before me
A man in a cloak as black as night
His sythe around my neck, his eyes full of hate
He said, ' Mortal warrior, Thy sword will not save thee from thine fate'.
