There is nothing more dehumanizing
Then laying here with no one to lay beside me
So cold and oh so lonely
But I keep it all inside
So no one really knows me

I didn't always write like this
I was once a real happy dude
My whole life before me
Seemingly nothing to lose

Till reality hit me like a dead end
And everywhere I went I felt like I didn't fit in

But nobody knew how I felt
I took heat from the flame
And I started to melt
And what's ironic is I did it to myself

Now I keep it inside
So nobody knows what I'm about
Who would wanna hear me anyways
Just shut up my mouth
