JAR Poet - Even Now

In the moment that I get to be alone,
Mother's day :) free to roam.

A minute hit me like a ton of bricks.
I'm not over things I cannot fix.

Silently I cry, again,
wondering when I can fully mend.

No one gets to see
this side of me,
because in my life...
I pretend
too be happily free.

Only to be reminded..
my binds,
my chains,
my thoughts.....
keep me
I can never
flee....
