Janet Jackson works through her grief
Description
Janet Jackson has opened up about how she has been coping with her grief after losing her brother Michael Jackson.
The King of Pop died of a cardiac arrest in June 2009.
"Everyone's different about it, I was different about it than the rest of my family," the singer-turned-actress said.
The youngest Jackson sibling made a rare red carpet appearance with older sister Rebbie in New York. The pair attended the screening of Janet's new film, Why Did I Get Married Too?
It is the sequel to 2007 film, Why Did I Get Married, and was shot around the time MJ died.
Director Tyler Perry said working on the film helped the star: "As people see the film, they will see that she put every bit of anger, every bit of frustration, every bit of hurt and pain, because there are seven stages of grief and I think she used every one of them in this movie."
